HIM Leader Report-January 2009

HIM Leader January Report:

This is a report to you regarding Hmong Ministry in Northern Thailand during Jan-09:

1. Twelve people received faith in Jesus Christ: five from Laos on Thai border and seven in Ban Huai Kook, Vienkaen District, Chiang Rai

2. Conducted Bible studies, praise and prayer for five cell groups in Nan and Chiang Rai

3. Distributed blankets to the poor in seven church houses in Chiang Rai and Nan Provinces

4. Conducted Hmong literacy, English classes and Bible studies in two dorms

5. Proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Hmong animist from Lao on Thai border in Nan Province and Phucheefa area in Chiang Rai Province

6. Coordinated closely with Thailand Baptist Church Association and Hmong church leaders through out Northern Thailand

7. Due to a very cold winter this year, we have received 80 blankets from Thailand Baptist Church Association and we have distributed to the very poor

Summary of work of HIM: The work is still progressing. We are reaching the unreached Hmong in the remote areas and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them. Many more people are interested in the True Living God of the Universe. We conducted growth programs to church groups.

Without your support animistic people won't have chance to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and many believers will be isolated.

In Christ,

HIM Leader, Frontline Slave
