Dear Fran,

This is an update of Hmong International Ministries activities in Khun Yuam District, Maehongson Province this weekend.

More than two hundred believers attended a Revival Camp. I preached, conducted discipleship training, and church growth. God encountered their lives and several people felt as if they were born again. They rededicated themselves to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Several believer asked me to come back for nurturing them in their church groups and share the Gospel to animistic in their villages.

Hmong people in Maehongson Province need the Lord Jesus Christ. They want to get rid of the bondage their ancestors have had on them are all their lives.

Report from HIM Leader, Maehongson Province, Thailand

Dear Fran,

This is to keep you updated on Hmong International Ministries activities in Maehongson Province.

We worked in several Hmong villages, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our testimonies to several animistic believers. The Lord opened the door for us to deal with many adults and children.

The high light of our visit in these villages was meeting with Mr. Chee Vue Saeher, 102 years old. Now he knows the truth about the True Living God. Also we shared the Jesus story to several groups of children in the dorm.

In Christ,

HIM Leader Report from Doi Tiew Village, Nan Province, Thailand

Dear Fran,

This is to keep you updated on Hmong International Ministries (HIM) activities in Northern Thailand this week-end at Ban Doi Tiew, Thawanpha District, Nan Province.

I taught Sunday School and preached in the church. God touched Mrs. Der Saesong's heart and she made profession of faith in Jesus Christ.

Later, I shared Jesus story to a group of children and did some activities with them. They were happy and very excited with the experience. Some of the children and teenagers asked for Hmong literacy classes.

Please pray for new convert and the people in the village.

HIM Leader Report-Maeram Village, Phrae Province

HIM Leader Report:

Dear Fran,

This is to update you on Hmong International Ministies in Phrae Province. We held a church revival in Ban Maeram, Song District.(new area for HIM)

The revival went well. This small church has not had a revival in many years. A couple of families have returned to animism. The revival session has brought several members closer to the Lord. They felt born again in Jesus Christ. Members asked us to come back for more Bible traning.

The population of this village is around 2500 people. About 90% are anti-Jesus Christ and don't like this Christian group being there. I have communicated with a couple leaders in the village and things have simmered down.

I have plan to go back for building freindship with religious and community leaders.

In Christ,

HIM Leader, Frontline Servant

Please pray for HIM Leader as he and his wife serve among the Hmong in Northern Thailand. Pray for their safety as they labor in villages and On the Border

1. 12 people came into Saving Faith in Jesus Christ during this month

2. Bible studies, praise, praye and lead fellowship services in 5 house groups, Nan, Phayao and Chiang Rai Provinces

3. Taught Hmong literacy, ESL classes and Bible studies in Pua dormitory

4. Conducted coffee ministry to two groups of animistic believers in Ban Doi Tiew, Nan and Ban Xaythong, Chiang Rai. Religious and community leaders had chance to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ

5. Conducted Bible studies with believers from Laos on Thai border in Nan province

6. Affiliated closely with Thailand Baptist Association and Northern Thai Baptist Association

7. Coordinated closely with church leaders of Northern Thailand: OMF; CMA; Church of Christ of Thailand (not the same as US church); Lutherland; and Baptist

Conclusion: Hmong International Ministries have reached the unreached Hmong people for Christ. Many Hmong have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Hmong International Ministries.

We have made church grow programs available to assist church groups throughout Northern Thai. Without your support many Hmong wouldn't be able to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and receive Christ as Savior

HIM Leader-Xeng Lor Monthly Report for August 2009

August Monthly Report from Xeng Lor, HIM Missionary in Chiang Rai Province, Northern Thailand (Translated by HIM Leader)

Dear Fran

The enclosed report is from Xeng Lor Huai Khu, Chiang Rai Province during August-09,

1. Brought a family of 5 into saving faith in Jesus Christ

2. Preached and taught Sunday School in the church

3. Visitation: visited and prayed for members who were sick and have problems

4. Bible studies with two cell groups and pray for them. Have shared the Gospel to 13 people in two villages

5. Coordinated closely with local church leaders and community leaders

Xeng's suggested plan:
He felt that since he had shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ and shared testimonies to many people in his areas, people have heard the Good News but they didn't accept the Gospel. He has submits 2 plans:

1. Help those people who are sick, have family problems and need medicine

2. Help people whose family member has passed away with funeral love donation

(Need financial support of $200 per year for these two activities)

From Xeng Lor

Very Best Wishes

Please pray for Xeng and Xai Lor as they labor in Chiang Rai Province for Christ.

HIM Leader Report-Two Shaman in DoiTiew

Report from HIM Leader:

Dear Fran and Shirley,

This is an update on Hmong International Ministry in Northern Thailand, Ban Doi Tiew, Thawanpha District, Nan.

I had a meeting with two shaman and his elder crew members, in one of the shaman's house. We had a long discussion and then I presented the salvation plan to them. The two shaman and members were willing to step down and admitted they had misled their clan members in the past. They had heard about Jesus Christ but not clearly understand until today. One of the shaman said: When I become Christian many people will follow me as well. However, they said they will discuss with members and they will call me for final decision.

The two were Mr. Chia Ken and Mr. Cher Khai. I pray that God will encounter their lives and will bring them to know God in the near future. Please pray for these two leaders.

We had Bible studies, praise and pray with a church group, and taught Jesus story to children there. The children were very excited. They asked for us to come back and share more.

In Christ,

HIM Leader, Frontline Servant
