HIM 20.20 Project "Border to Border Across the Golden Triangle of Thailand - Acts 20.20, report from HIM Leader:

Dear Fran,

This is an update of HIM activities/ministry in Northern Thailand at Ban Manee Pruk, Thung Chang District, Nan Province today.

We had Bible studies, praise, prayer with a Cell Group. God encountered their lives and lifted them to a stronger faith in Christ.

Parents and children were earning income for their families, carrying cabbages from farms to the upper paved road. They loaded cabbage on trucks for transport to city market places. It was raining and muddy, making it a very difficult job.

This is an update of HIM activities in Doi Tiew village. Please pray for Mr. Chia Keng Her (shaman). I have scheduled to share the Gospel and my testimony with him tomorrow morning. If he becomes a christian, then his clan members will follow him also.

HIM Leader Report From Manee Pruke

 

This is an update on HIM 20.20 Project "Border to Border Across the Golden Triangle of Thailand, Acts20.20" activities by HIM Leader:

Dear Fran,

This is a report regarding Hmong Ministry of Northern Thailand at Ban Manee Pruke, Thung Chang District, Nan Province today.

We had Bible studies, praise and prayer with a Cell Group in the village. God touched Mrs. Pang Saelee's heart. She made a profession of Faith in Jesus Christ this evening (she had her 4 children with her).

The reason she become a Christian was because animism wasn't working for her. She had bad dreams and bad luck. The shaman always threatened her that she needed to pay him some money. He said she also needed more animal scarificies to ancestors for redeeming bad luck, bad dream and/or sickness. She found it didn't help solve her problems at all. She was tired of worshipping her ancestors. She wanted to get rid of them so she could be free from worshipping them.

She now feels safe with Jesus and Jesus doesn't ask for sacrificial animals for healing and redeeming the lost soul. Thanks be to God for blessing this new convert and family.

HIM Leader Report From Mae Rim District-Revival

 
 
 

This is an update of HIM 20.20 Project "Border to Border Across the Golden Triangle of Thailand" activities by HIM Leader:

A church revival was held in Ban Maesa Mai, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province last weekend. I preached about obedience and taught about faith. This church has not had a revival for years. Their faith is getting weak and some members have gone back to their own way of worshipping their ancestors.

Most people in this village don't like Christians. Their understanding of Jesus Christ is its just a foreign religion not related to Hmong. I have a plan to go back to the village with Coffee Ministry for sharing the True Living God ( Creator) and share my testimony with the religious and community leaders.

The church leader is asking for us to come back for nurturing and lifting members. Some members felt God touched their hearts, felt guilty of disobedience, knelt down asking forgiveness and blessing from God.

God has been working mightly through recent Hmong Revival Meetings "Across the Triangle". This is the third one in three weeks. Please pray for servants to come help in the harvest.

Dear Fran

Greetings from Living Water Center, Vien Kaen District, Chiang Rai.

I had the opportunity to preach and teach at this Youth Camp for 3 days. There were also many activities for the youth.

God touched several teenager's hearts for rededication and 6 teenagers made profession of faith in Jesus Christ. See the attached photos. Thanks for your support of prayers.
