This is a report to you regarding Hmong Ministry in Northern Thailand during April-09:

1. 2 Hmong were saved, 1 from Laos on Thai border in Nan Province

2. Baptized 23 members in Ban Thong Nanoi Church, Chiangkhong District, Chiang Rai Province

3. Conducted church revivals for church groups and youth in Ban Thong Nanoi, Ban Doi Tiew, Thawanpha District, Nan Province

4. Routine Bible studies for 5 Cell groups, 3 groups in Nan Province and 2 groups in Chiang Rai Province

5. Border ministry: Conducted Bible studies with believers and shared the Gospel to non-believers on Thai border in Nan Province

6. Affiliated closely with The Bible League Thailand (TBLT) and church leaders throughout Northern Thailand

Summary of work of Hmong Ministry of Northern Thailand: HIM is reaching the unreached Hmong animistic people group of Northern Thailand. God has touched many people's hearts and saved their souls through HIM as well.

We have made church growth programs available for nurturing believer groups throughout Northern Thailand. Due to the economic crisis, many servants are not able to help believer groups in the remote areas. They are facing tough times and this has troubled some with their Spiritual growth. Some members have already gone back to worship the evil spirits. Therefore, please pray for us and the people we are ministering to.

In Christ,

HIM Leader, Frontline Servant

Please pray for HIM Leader as they serve among the Hmong along the border of Laos/Thailand. Life is very hard and Christians have a difficult time with others trying to get them to give up and return to their old animistic ways. The harvest is truly great, but HIM Leader cannot get back to these remote areas often enough. Please pray that new leaders with be raised up to help.

Hmong from Laos are coming to the On Border Ministry every month. Please pray for this ministry as HIM Leader meets with these seachers along the border in at least three Provinces on a regular basis. Please scroll down to last blog posting for view of borders in just Chiang Rai and Nan Provinces.

HIM Leader Report on Lao Border Ministry-In the Rain

HIM Leader Report From Lao/Thai Border: See Photo Below

To keep you up dated on border ministry on this Sunday, we faced heavy rain during traveling on trail, but fortunately believers were able to show up for Bible study ( they all got wet). They said no matter what, they all are happy to meet with us and have Bible study together. We had a great time with them and more than 10 members are ready for baptism. I pray that we will baptize them whatever possible because there is no river or pond near by the trade market place there and I can't cross the borderline. Great news is Mrs. Chava Saethao made profession of faith in Jesus Christ this afternoon soon after we finished Bible study. Please pray for her and family.

In Christ,
